When we have finished high school, then we would be eager to join a college. Parents, friends, and relatives would have advised us to join X college, Y college, Z college, etc.
We would be in a dilemma to choose the best college which gives us everything.
The main things that we should check before selecting a college are
- Good academics record.
- Good campus interview record.
In this blog, we are going to see about campus interview in detail.
Campus Interview is an interview conducted in college for recruitment. Students who are studying final year would attend a campus interview.
There are many criteria for campus interview. There are various departments like CSE, IT, ECE, and many other departments in the Engineering field.
Mostly software companies visit colleges for campus interview recruitment. The software companies can be classified into two categories.
- Product based companies
- Example: Zoho, Amazon, Google, etc.
- Software service companies.
- TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc.
There are various criteria for each company.
A visiting company decides criteria for campus interview. Some companies decide criteria based on academics record. (Example: Above 8.5 CGPA)
Students who are eligible for these criteria would be allowed to attend a campus interview for that company.
There would 3 – 4 rounds in campus interview, but it varies from company to company.
Generally, these are the rounds:
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Programming round
- Technical HR
The rounds vary from company to company. Students need to have good knowledge of quantitative aptitude for clearing the first round.
